Ada Lou Foley Wright

Ada Lou Foley Wright, age 90 years and eight months, of Rocky Mount, left her earthly home on Sunday, November 4, 2007. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband the Rev. Richard Wright; her son, James Oscar Wright and great-grandson, Jeremy Adams. Mrs. Wright is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, David E. and Dot Wright of Amelia, VA., Thomas P. and Iris Wright of Gordonsville; six daughters and sons-in-law, Wilma Cornelia and Olen Phillips of Rocky Mount, Bettie and Sherman Smith of Kennesaw, Georgia, Vera Rachel and Billy Elliott of Richmond, Sylvia and Joe Fowler of Roswell, GA, Velma Deane and Nick Tsongos of Houston, TX, Alma Lou and Ronald Boyd of Altavista, VA; 20 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Vertie Foley, Alice Wright; one brother-in-law, Rev. Posey Wright and wife Irene. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11 a.m. Wednesday with Dr. Ronald Boyd and Rev. James Graham officiating. Interment will follow in Buffalo Ridge Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery, Stuart, VA. Her family will be receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Flora Funeral Service, 665 South Main Street, Rocky Mount, VA.
