Heaven gained another Angel Monday, June 29 2015. Agnes EVaughn Hall Hodges, 77, of Wirtz lost her three year battle with breast cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Myrtle Saunders Hall and Wilbur Coleman Hall; and her sister, Judy Faye Sailor. She is survived by her four children, Mark (Belinda) Hodges of Rocky Mount, Kenneth Hodges of Wirtz, Lisa (Terry) Meador of Rocky Mount, Michael (Melanie) Hodges of Salem; Six grandchildren, Amber Hodges, Ashley McGuire, Kaitlyn Hodges, Austin Meador, Kelsey Hodges and Tyler Hodges; four great-grandchildren, Westin Johnson, Christopher McGuire, Brantley Hall and Rylan Hall; Brother-in-law, Joe Sailor; niece, Amy Stephenson. The family would like to thank Dr. Mark Kochendefer and the staff at Blue Ridge Cancer Center and Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital 10 South for the exceptional care of their mother. The family will receive friends and family on Wednesday, July 1 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Flora Funeral Home in Rocky Mount. The service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, July 2 at Flora Funeral Chapel with Chaplain Rick Poland officiating. Interment will be held at Franklin Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions may be made in Agnes’ memory to the Susan G. Komen Breast Center, 4910 Valley View Blvd. NW, Suite 212 Roanoke Virginia 24012.
