Albert “Speedy” Hodges, age 94 of Rocky Mount, passed away Wednesday February 6, 2008.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Meeks Hodges; and son Lester Gordon Hodges.
He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law James Larry and Doris Hodges; grandchildren Misty Hall, Larry Dale Hodges; three great-grandchildren Dakota Neice, Kayla Neice and Teslia Hodges; sister Ruby Hall.
Graveside services will be conducted from Franklin Memorial Park 11 a.m. Saturday with Pastor Rick Poland officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 10 a.m. at Flora Funeral Service, 665 South Main Street, Rocky Mount.
