Alfred Herbert Wyrick

Alfred Herbert Wyrick, age 82 of Rocky Mount passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on Thursday, September 22, 2022. He was born May 6, 1940 a son of the late John and Dorothy Wyrick. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Erie Lee Wyrick, Leslie Wyrick, Garnet Wyrick; and grandson, Nathaniel Wyrick. Surviving are his wife, Eleanor Wyrick; three sons, Mark Wyrick (Kimberlee), Bryan Wyrick (Leanne), David Wyrick; grandchildren, Nick, Isaac, Elizabeth, Madison, Alexander, Victoria, Asa, and Andrew; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Wyrick was a United States Air Force Veteran and retired from IBM with 30 years of service. A graveside service will be held at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens (5737 Airport Rd NW, Roanoke, VA 24012) 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 27, 2022 with Rev. Eric Winn officiating.
