Alice Marie Adkins

Alice Marie Adkins, 65, Born Nov. 7, 1949 of Martinsville, VA passed away on August 8, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Roy & Viola
McGuire. She is survived by her daughters Michelle Matthews (Ronald) of Penhook, Sabrina Moore (Scottie) of Chatham, and son Paul Adkins and special friend Nancy Towler. Her grandchildren: Blake Patterson, Jacob Patterson, Brandon Moore, Madison Moore, Josh Adkins, Jarrett Adkins, Courtney Adkins, and Caitlyn Adkins. Also survived by: brothers Roger McGuire and Kenny McGuire; and sisters Diane Hunt and Ruby Dillon. She was also preceded in death by her sons Steven Adkins and Ernie Adkins. Also her brothers Charles McGuire, James McGuire, and Willie McGuire. Her favorite thing in life was spending time with all of her grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday August 11, 2015 at 2pm at Flora Funeral Chapel, Rocky Mount with Pastor David Wayne Prilliman officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service in the Adkins Family Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the home of her daughter Sabrina Moore, 240 Climax Rd. Chatham, VA.
