Alice Woodrow James

Alice Perdue James, age 75 of Rocky Mount passed away Saturday May 8, 2010. She was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Edith Perdue also by her husband Wilbert “Jinx” James. Surviving are her son Swanson Luther Mitchell, Jr. and Beth of Ferrum, Va. a daughter Tammy Mulkey of Roanoke, Va. grandchildren Brandon Mitchell and Savannah Mitchell of Ferrum, Va. a brother and sister-in-law Ben Perdue and Kay, sisters and brother-in-law; Bertie Morgan and Gary, Christine Martin and Winfred, Debra Peak and Larry, Isabelle Greer, Judy Shively, Polly McBride and Nelson, Rosie Lee Boitnott and Bobby, numerous nieces and nephews. Her family will be receiving friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at Flora Funeral & Cremation Service, 665 South Main Street, Rocky Mount.
