Alice Elizabeth Yopp Rodriquez, age 68 of Windber, Pennsylvania and formerly of Franklin County passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at her home.
She was born October 21, 1938 in Franklin County, a daughter of the late Noel and Okie Shorter Yopp. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by two daughters, Wanda and Angela Rodriquez; two sisters, Christie Belle Yopp and Emma Sue Toney.
She is survived by her husband, Trinidad; sons, Fred Barrick and wife Karen, Windber, Pennsyvania, Jose Rodriquez and partner Paul Smith, Orlando, Florida; one daughter Maria DeGraffenreid and husband Ted, Romulus, Michigan; six grandchildren, Raymond Barrick and wife Jessica, Stephanie Barrick, Kayla Rodriquez-Vera,Omar Pantojas, Somerton and Azarel DeGraffenreid; sisters, Sarah Swihart, Ferrum, Geraldine Stegall, Snow Creek, Mary Broughman, Bassett, Joyce Jones, Vicky Adams and Darlene Irby all of Elgin, South Carolina, Barbara Grimes and Diane Wright, Rocky Mount; brothers, Malvin Yopp, Callaway, Wilbert Yopp, Willoughby, Ohio, James, Henry, Winston and Charles Yopp, Rocky Mount.
Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Monday. Interment will follow in the Yopp Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Flora Funeral Service, 665 South Main Street, Rocky Mount, Virginia.
