Allen Franklin Harrison

Allen Franklin Harrison, age 73 of Glade Hill went to be with his Lord and Savior Wednesday, August 10, 2011. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Newbern Harrison. Surviving are his mother, Elsie Mae Harrison; son, Rex Allen Harrison; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer Nicole Hunt and Delmus; three grandsons, Larry Allen and Tyler Mays Harrison, Matthew Caleb Hunt; one granddaughter, Adreanna Nicole Hunt; two brothers, Noel Thomas “Tom” Harrison, Benjamin Perry “Benny” Harrison and Joyce; six sisters, Nancy Mae Hall, Ruby Jane Dillon, Janet Marie Hudson, Joyce Ann Yopp and Jimmy Lawrence, Glenda Sue Dooley, Lynn Harrison and Greg; special cousin, David Green; special aunt, Geneva Fisher; aunt, Mary Lou Diggs; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Saturday with Dr. William Shively officiating. Interment will follow in the Harrison Family Cemetery. Friends may call after 5 p.m. Friday with his family receiving friends 6-8 p.m. at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
