Alma Gladys Lynch

Alma Gladys Lynch, age 96 of Rocky Mount died Sunday, August 14, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Taylor Lynch; her parents, Charlie Herbert and Ada Ingram Frith; daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Donald Maddy; brothers, James, Larnie, Morris, Buren; and sister, Vivian. Surviving are her son, Billy Lynch; daughter and son-in-law, Gail and C.W. Thomas; grandchildren, Brian (Vicky), Tim (Bev), Cheryl, Wanda (Cory); seven great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Avis Sinclair, Betty Jones; brother, Buford Frith (Mary); numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Furnace Creek Baptist Church, 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 17, 2022 with Rev. Joe Dillon and Rev. C.W. Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family respectfully request no food at the home and in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to your local food bank.
