Alton Wallace Richards

Alton Wallace Richards, age 62 of Penhook died Monday, November 14, 2016. Alton was born on March 29, 1954. Surviving are his daughter; Shenia Hudson (Barry); son, Asa Richards (Chelsea); brothers and sisters, Barbara Holcomb (Darryl), Doug Turner (Linda), Allen Richards (Doris), Beverly Brooks (Judy), Shirley Brown; grandchildren, Ellie Richards, Trevor Renaud, Jaxon Bailey; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends, William Holland, Jerry McGuire, Carlos Brown, and Marcelina and Lorrie Guzman, Hope Caldwell. Memorial services will be conducted at Halesford Baptist Church, 6:00 p.m. Friday with Rev. Melvin Harris officiating. His family will receive friends one hour prior at the Church. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
