Alvesta Dewey Witcher

Alvesta Dewey “Bo” Witcher, age 68 of Rocky Mount departed Thursday, September 8, 2016. He was born March 12, 1948. Surviving are his three daughters; Monica Stone (Norman), Stephanie Jennings (Richard), and Share Tuning; one son; Charles Cooper; father, Alvesta Witcher; sister and brother-in-law, Laverne and Charles Holland; step-children including Dorothy Rumley, one brother-in-law, two sisters-in-law, 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; a very special friend, Margaret Poston. Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 11, 2016 at Rocky Mount First Church of the Brethren with Pastor John Collins officiating. His family will receive friends beginning at 2:30 p.m. Interment will follow at the Byrd View Cemetery. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
