Alyeene Haynes

Alyeene English Haynes, age 73 of Glade Hill, our beloved mother and wife passed away peacefully after a long battle with Alzheimer’s on November 11, 2015. She was a long time member of Mount Ivy Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, William T. and Flora Bea English and beloved nephew, Chad Evan English. She is survived by her husband, James Roger Haynes, children, Troy Haynes and Susan Haynes and grandson, Drew Stover. Also surviving are brothers, Ronnie English and Terry English and sister-in-law, Wanda English. Special thanks extended to her caretaker of 5 years, Pat Hodges. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Alzheimers Assoc., 225 N. Michigan Ave., Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601. Funeral services will be conducted at Flora Funeral Chapel, 2:00 p.m. Friday with Steve Pasley, Minister officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount and other times at the home of her daughter Susan, 35 Blankenship Road, Rocky Mount, Va.
