Amanda Doreen Meeks King

Amanda Doreen Meeks King, age 58 of Rocky Mount passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2016. She was preceded in death by her father, Claude W. Meeks; and sister, Dreama Meeks. She is survived by two sons, Andrew King (Stephanie), Jason King; two grandchildren, Ciaran and Julian Mitchell; mother, Peggy Meeks; three brothers, Robert Meeks (Marian), Gary Meeks (Jamie) and Tommy Meeks; and sister, Diane Meeks (Wade). Memorial services will be conducted at Flora Funeral Chapel 11:00 a.m. Friday with Chaplain Rick Poland officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Her family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
