Amos Lee Bowles

Amos Lee Bowles, age 66 of Rocky Mount, passed away Friday, March 28, 2026. He was preceded in death by his parents, Amos and Eva Young Bowles; sister, Barbara Ann Bowels; and step-son, David Bradley. He is survived by his wife, Marsha Bowles; step-son, Leslie Bradley; step-daughter, Tina Mellinger; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Jim, Kay, Charles, Dorothy and Martha; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Amos graduated from Franklin County High School and worked for Davis Heating and Air. He retired after 40 years of service. He loved camping, but mostly his family. Amos was a friend to many. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Lung Association. A memorial service will be held at Flora Funeral Chapel 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 2, 2026 with Chaplain Rick Poland officiating. His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
