Amos Law

Amos Law, age 83 of Rocky Mount, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2019. Amos was preceded in death by his parents, Addie and Owen Law; his beloved wife, Christine and his precious daughter, Linda; four sisters, Laura Law, Kate Eanes, Betty Dillon, and Louise Gravely; and four brothers, Andy Law, Everette (Peanut) Law, Tommy Law, and John Henry Law. Surviving are his sons, Henry Lee Law (Jenny) and Ricky Law (Wanda); grandchildren, Lorinda Gibbs, Rochelle Law, Cameron Law, Danielle Young, Patrick Law, Andrew Law, Austin Paige Law, and Kash Law; four great-grandsons, Stone Gibbs, Steele Gibbs, William Law, and Avery Vining; sisters, Elsie Harrison, Gladys Holt, Pat Eubank, and Judi Law; sister-in-law, Sharon Law; and numerous nieces and nephews. Amos was a moonshiner and an entrepreneur, and above all, he was a loving, kind man who cherished his family with all his heart. He will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be conducted at Henry Fork Church of the Brethren, 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 14, 2019 with Pastor Ronald Coleman officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park. His family will receive friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Henry Fork Church.
