Angelene Finnley Gardner

Angelene Finnley Gardner, age 62 of Union Hall went home to be with her Lord Wednesday, January 12, 2011. She was born in Roanoke, Virginia on May 5, 1948 and was preceded in death by her father, Harlow Gardner; brother, Harlow Gardner, Jr.; and daughter, Donna Rigney. Surviving are her children, Jimmy Jones and wife Cindy, Cristy Johnson and husband Mark; grandchildren, Bobby Jo Rigney, Ashley Rigney, Tanya Jones, Melanie Jones, Brandon Jones, Trevin Johnson; great-grandchildren, Sederic Wheeler, Dakota Wheeler, Taylor Jarels, Lilly Jarels; special great- granddaughter, Lilly Jarels; mother, Virginia Hodges; brother, Covar Gardner; sisters, Virginia Lewis, Jeanette Crowley, Pauline Bowles. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11 a.m. Saturday with Rev. Bradley S. Dulaney and Pastor Eddie Hawks officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
