Anita Clarie Koch

Anita Claire Koch, 82 of Rocky Mount passed away Saturday, April 22, 2017. She was born October 29, 1934 in Gaylordsville, CT, the 8 ^th of ten children of the late Newton & Ruby Hall Hills. As of 2014 she was also predeceased by two sisters and three brothers. Surviving are her husband, Paul Koch; two sons, Paul Jr. (Gail) and Michael; grandson Kevin; four brothers; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins. Anita graduated from Chatham High School in 1951, Chatham, NY. She worked many years at Arthur Lee of Red Rock Real Estate, then was employed by the Village of Chatham, NY as Secretary at the Community Development Office and as Deputy Clerk/Treasurer. She retired from Cathedral Corporation, (Columbia Box) Chatham, NY as Executive Secretary. Anita was a member of Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Rocky Mount where she served as first secretary of the church and served on many committees. Her hobbies were crocheting, reading and flowers. A Memorial Mass will be conducted 1:30 p.m. Thursday April 27, 2017 at Francis of Assisi Catholic Church with Father Charles Brickner officiating.
