Anne Hudson Thurman Leggett, age 76 of Rocky Mount passed away Sunday, March 23, 2008.
She was the daughter of the late Bentley and Anne Thurman and was also preceded in death by her husband Homer Leggett.
Surviving are her brothers, Paul Thurman, Joe Thurman and wife Cherold; her sister Penny Graveley; nieces Donna Chandler, Kathy Raab, Karen Heatwole, Kristie Thurman; nephew Richard Thurman. She is also survived by her special lifelong friend, Anne Lewis Edmundson.
Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel, 2:30 p.m. Wednesday with Rev. Jody Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Rocky Mount Christian Church, 120 South Main Street, Rocky Mount, Virginia 24151 or to a charity of choice.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Flora Funeral Service, 665 South Main Street, Rocky Mount.
