Anne Shively Webb, age 76 of Rocky Mount, died Wednesday, January 7, 2009 after a long courageous battle of Alzheimer’s and a short battle of cancer.
She was a member of Gogginsville United Methodist Church and was a dental office assistant.
She was preceded in death by her parents, J.O. and Kate Shively; and her husband T. Russell Webb, Sr.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Kaye and Paul Cash of Prince George, Anne and Charles McGuire of Vinton, Susan and Frank Lynch of Boones Mill, Thomas (Tommy) R., Jr. and Patricia Webb of Midlothian; grandchildren, Michael (Erin), Matthew and Mary Beth McGuire, David and Anna Lynch, Eric and Katy Cash, Rusty and Amanda Webb; brother, Ed and Joyce Shively; sister, Sarah and Ralph Arthur; three nieces and two nephews; a host of Webb relatives; special friend, Geraldine Sink; caregivers, Marty and Mary and Sally Martin.
Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11 a.m. Saturday with Rev. Brad Dulaney officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park.

Her family will be receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Flora Funeral Service, 665 South Main Street, Rocky Mount and other times at the home of Susan and Frank Lynch, 2190 Jubal Early Hwy., Boones Mill, Va. 24065.
