In loving memory of Annie Bell Perdue Hodges, 81, who went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 26, 2025.
Annie Bell lived a devoted life to faith and family. She always put the needs of her family before her own. She was a strong woman who faced every challenge in her life with courage and dignity. She was an inspiration to her children and grandchildren and will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched.
Annie Bell was a faithful member of Fairview Brethren Church where she joyfully sang in the choir and taught Sunday School.
Annie Bell is the daughter of Charlie Milton Perdue and Stella Bell Dudley Perdue. She is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Palmer Hodges; her son, Kenneth Wayne Maxey; and daughter, Sherry Ann Maxey Ingram and her husband Hunter B. Ingram, Jr.; three grandchildren, Hunter B. Ingram III, Peyton K. Ingram and Kenneth Cleo Maxey; one brother, Brady M. Perdue and his wife Vicki Perdue. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Dan Hodges and his wife Mevva Hodges; and sisters-in-law, Carolyn Strickler and her husband Danny Strickler, Bobbie Holcomb and her husband D.L. Holcomb and Sandra Arrington; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Annie Bell is deeply loved by her family who cherish the memories of the time they were blessed to spend with her.
Funeral services have been rescheduled at Flora Funeral Chapel, 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 3, 2025. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to services. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park.
