Annie Catherine Jamison Montgomery, age 108 peaceably passed on to the Great Beyond March 26, 2007.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joel A. Montgomery; two sons Crist A. Montgomery and Levi H. Montgomery; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; son-in-law James Rutrough; daughter-in-law, Etheleen Montgomery; two sisters Bessie Bower and Mary Rutrough; three brothers Henry, Joseph and Johnnie Jamison.
Surviving are two daughters, Frances Rutrough and Catherine (Elwood) Bowman; three sons Jacob E. (Mary), J. Howard (Goldie) and Robert J. (Carol) Montgomery; daughter-in-law Lydia May Montgomery; 30 grandchildren; 119 great-grandchildren; 99 great-great-grandchildren; two great-great-great-grandchildren; two sisters Rosa Beckner and Blanche (Ed) Mason; one sister-in-law Mary Jamison.
Funeral services will be conducted from Oak Hill Old German Baptist Brethren Church 10 a.m. Thursday with the Home Brethren officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family has requested that flowers be omitted.
The family will receive friends Wednesday at Oak Hill Old German Baptist Brethren Church from 2 – 5 and 6 – 9 p.m.
