Annie Ethel Robertson

Annie Ethel Jones Robertson, age 84 of Rocky Mount has gone home to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, June 9, 2016. Ethel was born July 20, 1931, a daughter of the late Hubert B. Jones and Annie L. Jones. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Tom W. Robertson; her sisters, Pauline Nichols and Mary Altice; brothers, Billy Jones, Paul Jones and Dallas Jones. She was a lifelong member of Henry Fork Church of the Brethren and also attended Doe Run Christian Church. Surviving are her sister Dee Moore; brother Alton Jones (Joyce); sisters-in-law, Mary Jane Jones and Mildred Chitwood; special nieces, Debra Bailey and Leslie Turner (Monkey); special friends Robin Powell and Betty Jo Hodges; a very special friend and caregiver Lynn Harrison. Funeral services will be conducted at Flora Funeral Chapel, 3:00 p.m., Saturday, June 11, 2016 with Pastor Ronald Coleman officiating. Interment will follow in Henry Fork Church Cemetery. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to service at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
