Ardella Shilling Furrow

Ardella Shilling Furrow, age 94 of Rocky Mount passed away Sunday December 11, 2016 at her residence. She and Cecil were the owners and operators for 30 plus years of Furrow’s Greenhouse in Boones Mill. She was the daughter of the late Cleveland and Nancy Shilling and was also predeceased by her husband, Cecil Furrow; 10 siblings; son, James; and grandchild, Tony. Surviving are her children, Riley and wife Joanne, Ronnie, Theo and wife Pat, Ricky and wife Rhonda, and Wanda; grandchildren, Michelle, Randy (Tina), Jeff (Melissa), Josh (Christina), Joanna (Tom Capretta), Shawn (Tiffani), Cory and Tim; great grandchildren, Seth Nieves, Michelle Nieves, Bailey (his mother, Angie), Colton Wray, Jaiden, Haylee, Camron, and Miss Emily; special nephew, Thurman and Diane Wimmer; special pets, Gypsy, Penny and Boots, special thanks to Domenique Banks, Nacol Sutphin, and Donna Furrow for their care and concern. Funeral services will be conducted at Flora Funeral Chapel, 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 14, 2016 with Rev. Jim Steele officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
