Aubrey Wallace Long

Aubrey Wallace Long, age 64 went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 8, 2010. He was born in Rich Creek, Virginia on April 22, 1946 to the late Annie and Lewis Long. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Carolyn; second wife, Vicki Hale Long; a sister, Virginia Crawford. He is survived by sisters and brothers-in-law, Carolyn Cromer of Salem, Louella and Tony Fesperman of Salem, Nellie and Lonnie Mills of Stewartsville, Evelyn and Bob Willis of Roanoke, Cornelia and Larry Dunn of Peterstown, W. Va.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Lewis and Judy Long of Salem, Donnie and Lois Long of Blue Ridge, Va.; step-children, Billy Thurston, Timmy Crowder, Steven Chitum, Lorie Perdue, Billy Hudson; eight grandchildren including two very special grandchildren, Amber and Brooke. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Wednesday with Chaplain Rick Poland officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a fund for Amber Lynn Hudson and Brooke Angel Hudson, c/o Nellie Mills, 13049 Stewartsville, Road, Vinton, Va. 24179. His family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Flora Funeral & Cremation Service, Rocky Mount.
