Audrey Jean Linkous

Audrey Jean Linkous, age 88 of Rocky Mount died Wednesday, May 16, 2018. She was born September 27, 1929 in Franklin County, a daughter of the late John Raymond and Louella Robertson Holcomb. Audrey was preceded in death by her loving husband, Arthur Linkous; three sisters, Laura Love, Jewel Stultz, Beatrice Stultz; five brothers, Clinton, Kermit, Leonard, Raymond, and Aaron Holcomb. She is survived by many nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law, Helen Holcomb of Reidsville, NC. Audrey retired with many years of service in the banking industry. She resided at Fork Mountain Rest Home and the family is deeply appreciative for the love and care she was given for the past 5 ½ years. Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Henry Memorial Park with Pastor Jerome Denny officiating.
