Audrey Plyler Prillaman

Audrey Plyler Prillaman, age 93 of Rocky Mount died Tuesday, April 13, 2021. She was born October 14, 1927 a daughter of the late Eugene and Ruth Plyler. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Ottis Ray Prillaman on January 7, 2021; son, Kevin Ray Prillaman; and brother, Buck Plyler. Surviving are her sons, Joey Prillaman and Marty Prillaman (Naomi); her “adopted” daughter, Melissa (Missy) Barbour; grandchildren, Davis Prillaman, Lindsey Blake (Tim), Anna Ray Prillaman (Tyler), Kevin Ray Prillaman, Rian Prillaman, Koen Arthur, Paxton Arthur and Finn Arthur; great grandsons, Emmet and Oliver Blake; brother, Earl Plyler (Mary Jo); sister-in-law, Sarah Plyler; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Prillaman was a longtime active member of Franklin Heights Church and retired from the Veterans Administration (Poff Building). Special thanks to her caregiver, Bonnie Harlow for everything she did. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Franklin Memorial Park.
