Barbara Sink Boone

Barbara Sink Boone, age 68 of Rocky Mount went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, May 18, 2016. She was born October 28, 1947 in Dayton, Ohio. She was united in marriage to Larry E. Boone on Saturday, August 26, 1967. They were blessed with four children, Larry L. (Marla), Jason (Laura), Trent (Brandi), and Kara. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Nelson and Evelyn Sink; brothers, Ben and Nelson; father and mother-in-law, Glenn and Virginia Boone. Barbara is survived by her husband; children; seven grandchildren; sister-in-law, Barb Sink (Ben); and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at Redeeming Life Church. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Thursday and 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Friday at Redeeming Life Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Old German Baptist New Conference Building Fund.
