Barbara Akers Hale

Barbara Akers Sink Hale, age 74 of Garner, NC formerly of Callaway, VA, passed away Monday, May 18, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents Ray W. and Fannie Mary Akers and a sister, Lois. Surviving are her husband, Ellis Hale; daughter, Cynthia Tourville; sons, Wilbert L. Hale, Rodney W. Hale, Ellis W. Hale, Terry Hale and Jerry Hale; eight grandchildren; a number of step- grandchildren, great- grandchildren and other family members. Graveside services will be conducted at Oylers Chapel Church Cemetery, 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 22, 2015 with Pastor Barry Witt officiating. Her family will receive friends 6:00 p.m. ? 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
