Barbara Joann Kearney

Barbara JoAnn Kearney, age 80 of Boones Mill died Thursday, May 19, 2016. She was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Cronos. Surviving are her husband, Thomas Kearney, Jr.; daughter, Avis Lynn Lucas; son, John Richard Kearney; grandchildren, Stephen Gutowski, Jordon Kearney, Rachael Kearney, Taylor Lucas, Brenton Kearney; and great-grandson, Brayden Meeks. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother who will be missed by those who knew her. A memorial gathering will be held 1 p.m. Sunday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount. Interment will take place in Flagler Memorial Park in Miami Florida at a later date.
