Beatrice Schoonover Scott

Beatrice Schoonover Scott “Bea”, age 89 of Hardy passed away Friday evening, October 22, 2021.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, John Calvin Scott. Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law, Richard Scott (Sandra), Claude Scott (Kathy), Gary Scott (Kathy), six grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Scott was an active member of Halesford Baptist Church for many years where she enjoyed singing in the choir. Funeral services will be conducted at the graveside, Mountain View Cemetery, Vinton, 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 25, 2021 with Rev. Melvin Harris officiating.  Special thanks to Memory Care and Medi-Hospice  for their concern and care of Bea.
