Becky Coleman

Becky Coleman, age 67 of Rocky Mount, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2024. She was born on February 8, 1957 in Rocky Mount, Virginia. She was the daughter of Lera Odell Law and Jessie Law.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by cherished loved ones, including her sister, Judy Wood; brother, Jessie Edward Law; and her nieces, Annette Wood and Christy Shively.

Becky loved her family dearly. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports, watching Netflix and hanging out by the pool. She also loved making Christmas special for her family and she enjoyed being creative and making crafts. She is survived by her husband, Ronald Coleman; son, Nicky Coleman (Kristy); daughter, Jessica Coleman; grandchildren, Chloe Coleman, Gage Coleman and Jase Dent all of Rocky Mount.

Becky will also continue to be missed by her siblings, Ethel Akers, Jimmy Law (Gail), Martha Hubbard (Billie) all of Rocky Mount, Virginia and Garnett Flora (David) of Roanoke Virginia. In addition, Becky had special cousins, Carol Hall (Moose) and Carolyn Cundiff (Donnie); along with many special nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to her medical expenses. Though she has departed, we take solace in knowing that she is no longer in pain.

Funeral services will be conducted at Flora Funeral Chapel in Rocky Mount, Va. at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 with Pastors Marvin Wade and John Collins officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount Virginia.
