Benjamin Curtis Hunt

Benjamin Curtis Hunt, 78, of Rocky Mount, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Sunday, October 9, 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Carrie Hunt. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Jewell Cundiff Hunt; his daughter Sheila Copenhaver and her husband Vincent; one special granddaughter, Victoria Hunt Copenhaver all of Rocky Mount; one brother, William Hunt and his wife Linda of Williamsburg, Virginia; one nephew, Thomas Hunt of Harrisonburg, Virginia; sisters-in-law and brothers-in–law, Calvin and Juanita Plybon, Donnie and Betty Hunley, Myrtle Carter, Elva Cundiff, Herbert and Joyce Cundiff, Bobby and Brenda Cundiff, Andrew and Lottie Cundiff and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Ben loved his church family and memorials may be made to Franklin Heights Baptist Church, 110 Hilltop Drive, Rocky Mount, VA 24151
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Franklin Heights Baptist Church with Dr. Stan Parris and Rev. J. Larry Holland officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. His family will receive friends at Franklin Heights Baptist Church 5 to 8 pm on Tuesday, October 11, 2011. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
