Benjamin Matthew Lilly , Sr. "Ben" age 60 of Franklin County, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2023. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Marie Hall Lilly; parents, Overton Otho Lilly, Jr., and Anna Elizabeth Simpson Lilly; grandchild, Liam Lilly; brother, William D. Lilly (Giselle) and a sister, Anna Delores Taylor (Robert). Surviving Ben are his sons, Benjamin Lilly, Jr., (Susan) and Jacob Lilly; grandchildren, Brenna Rogers, Lillian Rogers, Kensley and Levi Lilly; brothers, Larry Lilly (Sharon), James Lilly (Belinda), Daniel Lilly (Mary) and Eric Lilly (Perla); sisters, Mary Anne Fizer (Paul), Carolyn Davis, Sharon McGhee (Jeff), Margaret Gearheart (Randall) and Martha Worley (Mike). Benjamin was born in Roanoke, VA and spent his career as a carpenter. A memorial graveside service will be held at the Hall Family Cemetery (Cassell Drive) 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 4, 2023 with Rev. Joe Wooldridge officiating.
