Benjamin Paul Wray

Benjamin Paul Wray, Sr., age 81 of Ferrum passed away Thursday, April 3, 2014. He was born May 22, 1932 a son of the late John Willie Wray and Annie B. Amos Wray. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Annie Wray; three brothers, John T. Wray, Clyde V. Wray and Willie H. Wray. Surviving are a daughter, Nancy E. Wray Ary; three sons, Benjamin Paul Wray, Jr., Daniel L. Wray and Calvin E. Wray; three grandchildren all of Florida; sister, Betty A. Wray Brown; and brother, Price Wray of Rocky Mount. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 7, 2014 with Rev. John Collins officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park. The family has requested no food and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rocky Mount First Church of the Brethren. His family will receive friends 4-6 p.m. Sunday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
