Bentley L. Hodges

Bentley L. Hodges, age 83 of Ferrum and formerly of Rocky Mount died Friday, October 25, 2013. He was preceded in death by his sons, Ronnie Wayne Hodges Sr. and Neal Hodges. Surviving are son, Jerry Hodges and wife Donna; daughter, Lisa Young and husband Bryan; sister, Naomi Alley; brother, Caudis Hodges grandchildren, Travis Hodges, Beth Preston, Lindsey Little, Nicholas, Titus, Priscilla, Kayla, Benjamin, Elijah, and Sophia Hodges, Bryana Young and Kelley Young, Ronnie Wayne Hodges Jr., and Kenealia Hodges. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren. Special thanks to Carilion Hospice and especially Jason Brubaker and Kitty Ruby for their tender care. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Monday with Chaplain Rick Poland officiating. Interment will follow in the Alley-Hodges Family Cemetery. His family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Sunday at Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
