Berbee L. Jarrett

Berbee Lowe Jarrett, 88 of Rocky Mount, passed away Wednesday December 23, 2009. She was born January 26, 1921 a daughter of the late Mark and Ethel Montgomery Lowe. She was also preceded in death by her husband, H. Gray Jarrett and a sister, Gertrude Perdue. Mrs. Jarrett was a member of Rocky Mount United Methodist Church. Surviving are two daughters, Peggy Hodges and husband Ron Rocky Mount, Phyllis Blankenship, Cedar Grove, NC; three sons, Butch Jarrett and wife Jan, Boones Mill, Roy Jarrett and wife, Donna and Richard Jarrett all of Rocky Mount; sister, Delia Land of Charleston,WV; 12 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Rocky Mount United Methodist Church with Dr. John Plummer officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park.
