Bettie L. Pendleton

Bettie L. Pendleton, age 79 of Rocky Mount passed away Monday, April 8, 2013 at her residence. Surviving are her husband Howard Pendleton; children, Ann Basham and husband Bob, Rita Thomas and husband Charlie, Noah H. Pendleton; grandchildren, Gregg Ferguson, Sarah Pendleton, Bobby Basham and wife Leslie, Christopher Pendleton and wife Amie; great-granddaughter, Isabel Pendleton; one sister; one brother; special friends, Coy and Caroline Guilliams and Lisa McCall. Funeral services will be conducted at Flora Funeral Chapel 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 10, 2013 with Pastor Mike Lawhorn and Pastor Jeff Richards officiating. Bettie requested no flowers. Memorial donations may be made to Furnace Creek Baptist Church, 975 Scuffling Hill Road, Rocky Mount, VA 24151 or to American Cancer Society, 1079C Spruce Street, Martinsville, VA 24112. Her family will receive friends 6-8 pm Tuesday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
