Bettina Davis Divers

Bettina Davis Divers, age 90 of Rocky Mount was born on September 1, 1927 and went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 18, 2018. Bettina retired from MW Manufactures with 44 years of service and was a lifetime member of Rocky Mount Christian Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Virginia Davis; her husband, James Roy Divers; daughter, Bettina Bratton; grandson, Robert Bratton; sisters, Ruby (Ed) Sheppard, Evelyn (Garland) Hunt; and brothers, John (Mary) Davis, and Ben (Beulah) Davis. Surviving are her son, James Arthur (Clementine) Divers; grandchildren, Mellissa Divers, Daphne Divers Tilley, Jennifer Fox, and James Butler. Also surviving are eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews (Special to her heart, Ethan Divers and Kamryn Via). Finally, special niece and helpful family member, JoAnn Boone. Memorial services will be held 3 p.m. Sunday at Rocky Mount Christian Church with Pastor Matthew Ricks officiating. Her family will receive friends beginning at 1 p.m. prior to the service on Sunday at the church. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
