Betty Jane Deaton Angle

Betty Jane Deaton Angle, age 73 of Rocky Mount died Tuesday, July 31, 2018. Mrs. Angle was preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Bertha (Denlinger) Deaton; in-laws, Carl and Gladys (Peters) Angle; sister, Mary Ellen Flick; and brother-in-law, Martin Brubaker. Surviving are her husband, David Angle; children, Karen and Benjamin Bowman, Priscilla and Rex Austin, Mark and B.J. Angle; grandchildren, Cody, Torie and Tyler Bowman, Kurt and Madelyn, Chloe, Eli and Will Austin, Joseph Angle; sisters, Ruth Brubaker, Anna Mae and Forrest Kinzie; brothers, Dean and Janet Deaton, Dale and Sharon Deaton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Thomas and Ellen Flick, Dale and Mary Ann Angle, Dean and Denise Angle, Glen and Carol Angle; special friends, Harmon and Wanda Beckner. Funeral services will be conducted from Oak Hill Old German Baptist Brethren Church, 10 a.m. Friday with the Home Brethren officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carilion Hospice of Franklin County. Her family will receive friends from 2-5 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Thursday at Oak Hill Church.
