Betty Lee Dooley

Betty Lee Sink Dooley, age 83 of Rocky Mount, passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther George and Louannie Hodges Sink; son, George Lee Dooley; sister, Hattie Agee; two infant sisters, Virginia Lois and Cecilia Ann; and brother, Pete Sink. Surviving are her three daughters, Elizabeth Dooley, Jennie Waid, and Betty Marie Muse (Cody); two grandsons, Malcolm Lewis Waid and Alex Haywood Waid; sister, Marie Flora (Donnie); numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members. Betty was a great mother and grandmother. Family was most important to her, especially her grandsons. A graveside service will be held at the Hodges-Davis Family Cemetery, 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 24, 2021. The family respectfully requests no food. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to assist with final expenses. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
