Betty Lou Johnson passed away at the age of 79 on March 21, 2020 in her home in Oak Level, Virginia. Betty was born on June 13, 1940 in Endicott section of Franklin County, VA to Archie M. Wagoner and Bertha Trail Wagoner. She was a beautician for 54 years, bringing joy and laughter into the hearts of anyone who sat in her chair. She never shied away from dancing, singing off-key, feeding her family and telling a good joke. She brought light into this world and now it is dispersed for others to call upon when they need it most. Betty is survived by three daughters, Cindy Johnson Ramsey (James), Cheryl Johnson, and Paula Johnson Pagans (Will). Seven grandchildren and seven great-children. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers-Silas and Jesse Wagoner. Special thanks to Carilion Hospice of Franklin County for their care and concern. Due to the current global circumstances, a graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at Maple Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.
