Betty Jane Lawson

Betty Jane Lawson, age 75 of Rocky Mount passed away Friday, November 15, 2024. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lucille Byrd; step-father, Alfred Byrd; and one grandson, Joseph Jones. Surviving are her five daughters, Carolyn Roark (Vincent), Betty Bell, Phyllis Mullins, Ronnie Bennett and Teresa Thompson (Joshua); several grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; sisters, Debra and Minnie; brothers, Wayne, Mickeal and Gene. She was the best mom ever. She was devout Christian and loved God, her children and her family. Services will be held at a later date in West Virginia. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
