Betty Ingram Matthews

Betty Rachel Ingram Matthews, age 86 of Rocky Mount, VA., passed away Sunday, January 11, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents; Alexander F. and Ruth H. Ingram, her husband, (T.D.) Thomas David Matthews; three sisters, Ruby I. King, Frances Ingram and Edith I. Greer; and two brothers, William T. Ingram and Alexander F. Jr. Ingram. Betty is survived by her children, S. Delaine Matthews, Thomas David Jr. (Janette) Matthews of Rocky Mount and Creg Fountain (Kristin) Matthews of Roanoke, six grandchildren, Bryan David Matthews, Justin Galen (Annie) Matthews, Kristi Lynn Matthews, Jackson Fountain Matthews, Carter William Matthews and Nicholas Ingram Matthews, one sister, Jean I. Meador and one brother, James D. (Bobbie) Ingram, a sister-in-law Arbutus "Boots" B. Ingram, and several nieces and nephews. Many thanks to the wonderful staff with Carilion Clinic Hospice.
