Betty June Perdue

Betty June Hall Perdue, age 83 of Glade Hill passed away on Wednesday, December 12, 2018. She was born May 15, 1935 and was preceded in death by her husband, Walter “Darrell” Perdue; sister, Evelyn Arrington; parents, Posie and Isabelle Hall; father and mother-in-law, Walter James and Vivian Perdue. She is survived by her two children, Darrell Wayne “Tadpole” Perdue and Lisa Renae Perdue; daughter-in-law, Tina Marie Perdue; six grandchildren, Brian and Samantha Strong, Destiny Pugh, Christian Moreland, Hailey Perdue, Timothy Perdue, Haylee Smith; four greatgrandchildren; sisters, Rose Scott, Carolyn Buchanan and Kathy Wray. She was a loving mother and housewife and enjoyed her flowers and gardening. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11:00 a.m. Saturday with Rev. Bradley Dulaney and Pastor Ronald Coleman officiating. Interment will be held at a later date at Franklin Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Friday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center Rocky Mount.
