Betty Jean Young

Betty Jean Young, age 87 of Rocky Mount passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas L. Young; son, Tommy Young; daughter, Brenda Harrison; brothers, Irvin, Calvin, Gee and Sammy Robertson; sisters, Beulah Dillon, Loraine Davidson, Ernestine Hodges and Louise Hammock. She is survived by her grandsons, Chester Harrison and Thomas Young, Jr.; sister, Dorothy Forbes; brother, Aubrey Robertson (Myrtle); several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Franklin Memorial Park with Chaplain Rick Poland officiating. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
