Beulah Mae “Nana” Langenwalter, age 69 of Rocky Mount after a long illness of lung and heart disease passed away pleasantly in her sleep to be with her Lord and rejoin her loving family on Thursday, October 28, 2010. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther Ray and Beulah Mae Shelton Milton; brothers and sister, John Douglas Milton, Dewey Lindsey Milton, Sr., and Martha Louise Milton Alls. She is survived by one sister, Celia Darlene McLawhorn of Georgia; one daughter, Karla Weaver Pagans of Rocky Mount; one son, Kurt Randall Langenwalter of Knoxville, TN; two grandchildren, Coree Renee Riddle (Chris) and Ryan David Weaver all of Rocky Mount; one pride and joy, her great-granddaughter, Miss Caedyn Grace Riddle; one friend for life, Mr. George Bannister; brother-in-law, Carl D. Alls; and a proud abundance of nieces and nephews. Ms. Langenwalter was an avid “Belly Dancer” in her heart, and a lifer Beautician. She served briefly in the United States Air Force and married the father of her two children, William Langenwalter of Virginia Beach. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11 a.m. Saturday with Chaplain Rick Poland officiating. Interment will follow in Old Dominion Memorial Gardens. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday at Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
