Billie L. Webster

Billie Louise Webster age 94, of Boones Mill, passed away Thursday, July 20, 2017. She was the beloved wife of Jesse Will Webster for 73 years. She is survived by her husband, Jesse; son, Donald; granddaughter, Mary; and a great grandson, Johnathan Hunt; brothers, Virgil and Ronald Spencer; and a sister, Elizabeth Raby. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Spencer; father, William Spencer; brothers, Ray and John Parks, and Robert Spencer; also a granddaughter, Lesley Webster. Louise and Jesse met while he was in the Army and she worked for the Chattanooga Power Company. They moved numerous times living in Kentucky, Ohio and finally ending up in Virginia. Louise attended the University of Tennessee and worked different jobs usually in banking and retired while living in Cincinnati, Ohio. She and Jesse were longtime members of the Piedmont Presbyterian Church in Callaway, VA. Services will be held Flora Funeral Chapel, 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 22, 2017 with Rev. Nadia Stropich. Interment will follow at Franklin Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center Rocky Mount.
