Billy Wayne Eames

Billy Wayne Eames, age 78 of Rocky Mount died Tuesday, July 30, 2019. He was preceded in death by his son, Jimmy Wayne Eames. Mr. Eames retired from the Telephone Company after 36 years of service. Surviving are his wife, Merle Brown Eames; children, Emily Hunt, Timothy Eames; two granddaughters, Christy Robinson, Alicia Wood; eight great-grandchildren, Tavis, Jarule, Chloie, Aishah, Liberty, Olivia, Ireland, Posey; and brother, Lee Eames and wife Doris. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Thursday. Interment will follow in the Brown Family Cemetery. His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
