Billy "Cotton" Wesley Ferguson

Billy “Cotton” Wesley Ferguson, age 75 of Rocky Mount, passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Nannie Ferguson; siblings, Thomas Ferguson, Dorothy Blankenship, Betty Myres and Mary Jane Simmons; nephew, Terry “Booger” Wayne Simmons. Surviving are his son, Billy (Cindy) Hudson; grandchildren, Amber and Brooke Hudson; sister, Garnette Fitzgerald; brother, Ronnie Ferguson; girlfriend, Patricia Harmon; special niece who was like a daughter, Brandy Ferguson; other special nieces, Patricia Ferguson and Ora Ann Hodges. Cotton lived life to the fullest. His family will receive friends 4-6 p.m. Friday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
