Blandine Byrd English, age 86 of Rocky Mount died Sunday, May 12, 2013. She was born January 24, 1927 a daughter of the late Jeffrey and Adelle Woody Byrd. Surviving are her husband, Guy English; and special friends, Tommy and Ruth Bousman, Bryon and Gloria Perdue, Ray and Linda Vernon, Cash and Betty Cooper. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11 a.m. Tuesday with Pastor Mike Lawhorn officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
